All You Need To Know About Durand Cup 2022 | IFTWC - Indian Football Team For World CupThe 2022 Durand Cup will be the 131st edition of the Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia and the third oldest football competition in the world. This year for the first time the tournament will be played in more than one venue and multiple cities. The tournament is hosted by the Durand Football Tournament Society in cooperation with the Eastern Command of the Indian Armed Forces and the Government of West Bengal and supported by the Government of Assam and the Government of Manipur. This is the first season of the tournament wherein every club in the top tier Indian Super League has been mandated to participate, along with 5 selected clubs from the second division I-League, and the four teams representing the armed forces.
In Group C, ISL sides Chennaiyin FC, and Hyderabad FC has been grouped along with I-League sides Neroca FC and Trau FC. The group also involves the Army Red side.
